Giselle Battley is a renowned leader in global talent acquisition and leadership learning and development. She has a proven track record of transforming early talent recruitment, DEI, and leadership development strategies for some of the world’s largest brands and organizations. Currently, she is the Global Head of Emerging Careers and Learning at Yahoo, where she develops sustainable early-talent strategies and strengthens Yahoo’s reputation as a top employer for Gen Z, transitioning, and internal professionals.

Battley is an active board member for multiple organizations and a five-time recipient of Talent Acquisition and DEI Awards. Before joining Yahoo, Battley was a senior director and global head of early career talent at JLL. Before that, she was the lead of the national DE&I recruiting-evolving workforce strategy and innovation team at Deloitte. Earlier in her career, she worked as a sales and marketing leader for MillerCoors. Battley graduated from LSU Shreveport with an MBA in Project Management and from Xavier University of Louisiana with an undergraduate degree in Sales and Marketing.

Latabia holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Decision Sciences/MIS from East Carolina University and an M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Foundations certified, and Agile Certified. Her civic impact is deep-rooted. Early in her journey, she served as an adult education instructor supporting the Greenville Housing Authority’s Welfare to Work Grant program under the Clinton Administration. She later co-founded the LEAD Foundation to deliver life skills programming to at-risk youth and has served on multiple civic boards, including the Gwinnett Technical College Foundation Board and the Gwinnett County Police Citizens Advisory Board. She is a graduate of the esteemed Leadership Gwinnett program and currently serves as Vice-Chair of Create Gwinnett, the county’s arts and cultural development initiative. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Latabia serves on its National Program Planning & Development (PP&D) Committee’s Economic Development Subcommittee. Klassi Duncan

Urban League of Louisiana- Vice President of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI)

Klassi R. Duncan currently serves as Vice President of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at the Urban League of Louisiana based in New Orleans, LA. The Center’s operations include: the Women’s Business Resource Center, the Contractor’s Resource Center, and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise(DBE) Supportive Services Program – Region B (New Orleans/Hammond). The CEI provides small business education, counseling services, and access to resources to women and minority entrepreneurs across the state of Louisiana.

In this role, Klassi is responsible for the oversight and management of the organization’s operations, programming, and staff. Her responsibilities include establishing and leading the strategic direction of the organization, developing market-specific training curricula and special events, fund development and management, fostering strategic partnerships, and increasing the Center’s impact in the community.

Under her leadership, the Women’s Business Resource Center was awarded the 2020 State and Region VI Women’s Center of Excellence Award, the 2019 Region VI Women’s Center of Excellence Award, and the 2017 Women’s Business Champion Award by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Louisiana District Office for their work in promoting and developing women-owned businesses across the region.

Klassi is an active member of the United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the International Council for Small Business, and is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for Women’s Business Centers.

Ms. Duncan earned a BS in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. She is also a Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management and a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity.
